Inject some fun in to your ceremony with a sing along!

Updated: Oct 11, 2023

Looking for a fun way to get your guests involved in to your modern celebrant-led wedding need a sing along!

We are probably all used to singing hymns at religious weddings, but if you choose to have a civil ceremony led by a registrar it is unlikely you will be able to include a sing along….enter your celebrant!

Group singing can be a really joyful and bonding experience and can help set the mood for the celebrations to come.

So, if you want to include one, think about the sort of song you might like to have. Here are some ideas of ones which I think work well, but I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas on this…..

My advice – pick a song your guests are likely to know well – sing alongs work best when everyone can get involved. Also, try it out – is it a song that people are going to be able to sing easily (most guests are no Maria Carey!). Also think about the mood you want to set – are you going for something romantic or a get the party started sort of vibe?!

All You Need is Love – The Beatles

Ain’t No Mountain High Enough – Marvin Gaye

Lean On Me – Bill Withers

Marry You – Bruno Mars

Can You Feel The Love Tonight – Elton John

Wonderwall – Oasis

Can’t Take My Eye Off Of You – Andy Williams

Happy – Pharrell Williams

I’ll Be There For You – The Rambrants

I’m Gonna Be (500 miles) – The Proclaimers

Wannabe – The Spice Girls

All About You – McFly

You’re The One That I Want - Grease

Celebrant-led ceremonies allow you to get creative. Whether it is a sing-a-long or another personal addition, I can help! Get in touch and I'd love to chat about how we can make your ceremony the stand out start to your day!
